하도 중도 상도 역할

 

오늘은 하도, 중도, 상도 별 역할에 대해서 알아보겠습니다.

Mission of each coat in a system

 

하도(Primer), 중도(Intermediate coat), 상도(Topcoat)

 

A paint system is typically based on 3 coats, primer, intermediate or midcoat and topcoat

하나의 페인트 시스템에는 통상적으로는 3 coat를 기본으로 합니다. 하도, 중도, 상도

-> 보통 옥외에 노출되는 곳에 설치되거나 폭로 온도가 93℃ 이하인 곳에는 주로 3coat가 기본 도장 system입니다.

 

 

Primer 하도

 

The primer for the steel must provide good adhesion to the substrate.

In additiion it often has anti-corrosive pigments.

철에 적용되는 하도는 소지에 좋은 부착력을 제공해야만 합니다.

또한 방청성 안료를 함유하고 있습니다.

 

-> 방청성 안료라 함은 예를 들어서 철 대신 부식하느 아연분말 같은 것이라고 생각하시면 됩니다. 우리가 인오가닉징크, 에폭시징크가 바로 하도로 주로 사용되는 Primer 도료 입니다.

 

 

It must form a good basis for the intermediate coat. Different binder may give different adhesion properties and require different surface preparation.

중도에 대해 좋은 기초형성이 되어야 합니다. 수지의 종류에 따라서 각기 다른 부착성을 가지며, 각각 다른 표면처리가 요구됩니다.

 

-> 하도용으로 일반 인오가닉 징크와 에폭시 징크에 따라서 부착성이 틀리며 에폭시 징크가 더 좋은 부착성을 가집니다.표면처리는 대개 Sa 2 1/2 를 요구하고 있습니다.

 

 

Today, epoxy primers are widely used, e.g. zinc epoxy which gives excellent adhesion and excellent corrosion protection. Typical film thickness is 50~75㎛.

에폭시 프라이버가 널리 사용되는데 예를 들어 좋은 부착력과 좋은 방청성을 가지는 징크 에폭시가 있습니다.

통상적으로 도막은 50~75㎛ 입니다.

 

--> 대부분 철골쪽 공사를 제외하고는 75㎛으로 스펙에 주어집니다.

 

 

 

Intermediate coat (중도)

 

For a paint system to perform will we need minium film thickness.

The film thickness is built up in the mid- or intermediate coat.

페인트 시스템이 제대로 작동하려면 최소 도막 두께가 필요합니다.

그 도막 두께는 중도로 도막을 형성시킵니다.

 

--> 도장에서 build up 은 도막을 올리다, 형성시키다로 해석 됩니다.

 

 

In this coat we will increase impermeability and often laminar pigments are used.

이 중도는 불침투성을 증가시는데 종종 얇은 판으로 이루어진 층류의 안료가 사용됩니다.

 

The easiest way of bulding thickness is with a high solids paint.

도막을 올리는데 가장 쉬운방법은 고 고형분 도료를 사용하는 것입니다.

 

Epoxy systems are widely used as an intermediate paint in a heavy duty paint system.

에폭시 도장이 중방식도장 시스템에서 중도로 널리 사용됩니다.

 

A film thickness of 150-200㎛ is normal.

도막 두께는 150-200㎛ 이 보통입니다.

 

--> 철골이나 일반적 구조물에는 100㎛ 정도입니다.

 

 

Topcoat (상도)

 

The top coat of the finish coat provides the paint sysstem with the desired color and gloss.

마지막 코트의 상도는 요구된 색상과 광택을 제공합니다.

 

This coat should withstand radiation from the sun, rain and chemicals. The most widely used topcoat is polyurethane for heavy duty corrosion protection.

상도는 햇빛(자외선), 비, 화학물질로 부터의 견딜수 있어야 합니다. 가장 널리 사용되는 상도는 폴리우레탄 입니다.

 

These products have proven performance over many years and gives good stability against weather, sun radiation and chemicals.

폴리우렌탄은 수년에 걸쳐서 성능이 입증되었고, 날씨, 자외선, 화학물질에 좋은 안정성을 제공합니다.

 

Topcoat are usually the most expensive coats and typically only 50-75㎛ are applied

상도는 보통 가장 비싼 도료로 일반적으로 50-75㎛만 적용됩니다.

 

 

일반적인 3coat system에서 위와 같이 하도, 중도, 상도 역할을 구분하지만, 도장 system에 따라서 달라집니다.

일반적으로 하도의 특성은 모든 system에서 역할이 비슷합니다.

 

2coat system은 Primer 와 Topcoat로 이루어지겠죠?

4coat system은 Primer 와 intermediate coat (2개) 그리고 topcoat (finish coat)로 이루어 져있겟죠?
